PaddlerZone kayak shop has been open in Christchurch since 2001. In 2014 we moved to new premises at 311 Blenheim Road CHCH.

We are the largest kayak shop on the South Island, and we pride ourselves on our customer service, knowledge and product range. As all of our employees are kayakers you can be sure you'll be talking to someone that uses what we sell - everyone involved in the store has a hand in deciding which products we'll carry and which events we'll support. Our focus is on quality equipment and quality customer service.

A feature of our store is the range of demos that we have available to you, if you're thinking of buying a kayak then please come in and rent one from us. We're happy to take the cost of demo rentals off the purchase price of whichever kayak you decide is the one for you. Please see our Hire Gear page for details.

We're pretty proud of our achievements over the years and the support we have from the paddling community. We're proud to be giving back as well. This year we are sponsoring a number of events and groups:

We believe in having fun and being safe on the water so we offer discounts to club members: join the White Water Canoe Club, KASK, Arawa Canoe Club, Down River Kayak Club or CPIT Outdoor Pursuits Club. Clubs are great places to learn new skills and meet like minded people. We also offer discounts to students and qualified instructors and guides ( please bring some ID with you ).
