Here is the 2mm Dyneema rudder cable, it is strong and floats.
It is sold per meter.
Is suited to replace steel cable, and is easier to work with as knots can be used to secure each end rather than crimps etc.
For an idea of length needed measure from your rudder to your pedals along the outside of the kayak, add a meter for knots each end and to ensure you have enough. If you want to replace both lines double the measurement.
